An occasion for congratulation and celebration. Unlike other sites which open and close like the proverbial 'Jack in the Box', Harshasatsangh has survived for ten years thanks to the diligence and devoted commitment of its founder owner Sri Harsha. It now has, by a very long chalk, the largest membership, internationally of any Ramana Maharshi active Internet group. Asians, Americans, Europeans and Australasians interchange freely without pedantic moderation so that creativity can flourish. There is wisdom, knowledge, poetry, art, photography, information and humour on the site as well as, and most important of all, the treasured words of our Sat-Guru Bhagavan Sri Ramana Maharshi. The site continues through Sri Bhagavan’s grace and has helped countless devotees to overcome difficulties when they exchange postings and encounter the clarity of some of the mature souls who contribute to the site. Harsha has also added to the site, at his own expense, the beautiful, professionally designed Luthar.com link for valuable articles on Sadhana , Poetry, illustrations of Arunachala, and many useful links. In fact, it was wonderful of you to remind me of the 10th anniversary earlier today. That is, in fact, what made me write a post on it. Wherever there are devotees of Bhagavan such as yourself, that is the sangha. That is true eternally for all time. The sangha may take any name and form. Underlying is the same devotion to the ideal of Self-Knowledge, Self-Realization, and knowing one's own Heart. It is only natural that Bhagavan devotees will want to be with other devotees. That is why we are all here. I feel blessed to have the company of devotees of Bhagavan. That is the ultimate blessing for me. To be in the same mental atmosphere as other devotees and to share in their thoughts. But, if I checked the archives, I think I would find that I joined in 2002. This seems to be a time period of looking back for me, not to look back, but to process and contemplate the last few years, a good portion of which were spent in earnest on this and a few other lists. Having stepped in again for a visit, I realize how much I cherish this group and how much it provided a grounding for me when I really needed it. Do let me join in to thank you Harshaji, for your service in providing this group, an environment much like Ramanaashram in that you encourage us to express our spirituality as is fitting for each of us. And..do let me also take this moment to send my love and hugs to all of you...in the past few weeks, I have seen so many names I recognize and the beautiful energies that manifest with them, and some new folks joining the group.
