From Ramana Prasadam by Muruganar

p.44 v 247

" Through the experience of union gained through 'Diving into the Heart' asking

'Who Am I?' in accordance with the victorious method of Self Enquiry, I came to

know my true condition, the state which is entirely free from desire and fear,

since there is nothing that is not my Self

because I alone exist. "

Muruganar was a great Tamil Poet. He was Self Realised by the grace of Sri

Bhagavan and wrote this beautiful Poem as a consequence. It is translated into

prose by the Tamil Scholar Robert Butler and can be bought on Lulu.

Murunagar also wrote a great Poem called 'Padamalai' (the feet of the Guru)

which contains Bhagavan's Utterances in aphoristic form, as well as the 'Sri

Guru Vachaka Kovai' (The Garland of Guru's Sayings) which is a comprehensive

collection of Bhagavan's Teachings. Both these books have been edited by David

Godman and translated by Robert Butler and Dr. T.V. Venkatasubramanian. They can

be ordered from the Ramanasramam Book Depot

For those interested in the pracrtice of Diving Into the Heart I have written an

article on my findings on Harsha's Magazine at
