Guest guest
From Padamalai P.23 V *3 83. " The bondage-free state in which the feet [the Self] and the head [the ego] merge and become one is the Padam of Guru Ramana, which shines at the summit of the Vedas. " -oOo- Murunagar wrote a great Poem called 'Padamalai' (Feet of the Guru) from which this verse is an extract. It contains Bhagavan's Utterances which the great Tamil Poet recorded for the more mature seeker in aphoristic form. He also wrote the 'Sri Guru Vachaka Kovai' (The Garland of Guru's Sayings) which is an authoratative comprehensive collection of Bhagavan's Teachings with several translations. Both these books have now been edited by David Godman and translated by the Tamil scholars Robert Butler and Dr. T.V. Venkatasubramanian. They can be ordered from the Ramanasramam Book Depot, Amazon USA and Amazon UK. Recommended. AJ
