Guest guest
From Padamalai P.110 V 2 DO NOT IMPRISON THE TRUE FORM OF THE GURU WITHIN A CAGE BUT SEEK INWARDLY AND REALISE IT TO BE THE FORMLESS, OMNIPRESENT EXPANSE OF CONSCIOUSNESS. -oOo- Murunagar wrote the great Poem called 'Padamalai' (Feet of the Guru) from which this verse is an extract. It contains Bhagavan's Utterances which the great Tamil Poet recorded for the more mature seeker in aphoristic form. He also wrote the 'Sri Guru Vachaka Kovai' (The Garland of Guru's Sayings) which is an authoratative comprehensive collection of Bhagavan's Teachings. Several translations have been made. Now both these books have been edited by David Godman and translated by the Tamil scholars Robert Butler and Dr. T.V. Venkatasubramanian. They can be ordered from the Ramanasramam Book Depot, Amazon USA and Amazon UK. Recommended. AJ
