As I do not take this changing mind very serious, here comes a practice of expression. Is not the use of time ( past tense ) somewhat less subtle? Still it can be valid in the case of using the movie screen example. And yes, it seems to be mostly rerun's. Where I come from there was only the initial talk on this matter, and then silence. Any mentioning of an idea was not accepted. ( Still I did try for year's to get a message of a final understanding through : ) On the paper the comparisons may seem like one of choosing apples or a royal pear, but nothing is further from the truth. The difference's and how we proceed, can only be generalized and obstacles pointed at. As Self Knowledge described by Ramana/ Sankara leaves no doubt, I reluctantly bring along the 'doer'. ( Does Grace ring a bell? ). I see no end or aftermath, only this beginning: What forever remains unsaid. Ramana is known for his silent teaching. It is said he spoke and wrote for those who could not absorb it. Alan
