Namaste, One has to understand in the first place religion is a man made organisation and structure of the mind, like any society. Organised religion only started circa 2000-2500 years ago, and not one was organised by its so called founders. Religion is just some people's ideas of how so called spirituality should be organised. When dealing with a Jivanmukta one should not make them into a 'God' they still have all the karma and ideas in the body/mind until it drops. All that has changed is their total view of things and the ego is not the main operator...the Sakti is. So somebody like Ramana can have individual tendencies and view that he always had, even though to get to the stage of a Mukta one has of course improved or purified the mind..He still got cancer after realisation as that was the nature of things karma or chaos.....Even an 'Avatar' is still a human. One has to understand that there is no 'Descending God'..So everything that a Mukta or Avatar says isn't the absolute truth but perhaps a guide. What is truth or right or wrong anyway but an idea? In the main religions especially the new islamic fundamentalism are not necessary at all. One can teach children and others without programming and making people believe in nonsense so as to build edifices, temples, churches, and line the pockets of pundits and priests..........Only one thing needs to be taught and that is AHIMSA, ALL ELSE FITS UNDER THAT, INCLUDING DAYA ETC....As Jesus said the 'Golden Rule' Do unto others.............Tony
