I am not a scholar so am looking around for prayers from different sources. I believe I would like the prayers to focus on peace but am open to something that is related as well. If the members of the list can (either on the list or privately) give some suggestions and mention their favorite prayer verses and give the exact source of the verse or mantra as well, I would very much appreciate that. In fact, if you post the prayer on the list, that may be helpful to other people as well. Prayers can be from Bhagavad Gita, Vedas, and I am also very much open to prayers from any religion (Buddhism Christianity, Jainism, Islam, or any faith) which are universal in scope and aimed at the general topic of peace and God’s love.
