FROM THE NATURE OF THE MIND

The Obdurate Nature of the Mind (cont'd)

From Padamalai P.139 V.7

It is through the mask of the mind, adhering in the form of infatuation, that

the blissful enjoyment of salvation, the Self, has become hidden from view.

Padamalai (the feet of the Guru) is a long Poem by the Self Realised Tamil Poet

Muruganar. It consists of Bhagavan's utterances that he directly recorded. It

has been translated by Robert Butler and others, in aphoristic form , and edited

by David Godman with a commentary.

The book is available from Ramanasramam Book Depot.
