Morning Poem

In Praise of Bhagavan.

Salute the beauty, purity, truth and love,

In the blessed formlessness of the form

Of Bhagavan Ramana, sent from above

To lead mankind back to our birthright norm

Of Oneness with our great Self of glory;

His Godlike essence inherent in each soul.

His life unfolded and told the story

Of how to regain that lost fragmented Whole.

I will not be kind this time

I will take pleasure in your suffering

You will mark your words with me

You will fasten your soul to my spirit

And your yoke will be a spinning wheel of desire

I shall be indifferent

I shall be intolerant

And you will gather like dust under my feet,

You will be in awe of Heaven.
