Actually the Nova Scotia ashram nowadays is a branch of the Arunachala Ashram of New York (although it started in Nova Scotia, Canada), and its activities are mainly limited to summer, since no one is occupying the ahram in winter these days. And by the way, if any of the devotees stop by in New York, anyone can stay at the ashram, although I'd never been there, I was told it is a very big house and provide lodging for the ones interested, a little bit like Ramanashramam in Tiru. Staying is free (although donations welcome, like in Ramanashramam) Dennis Hartel is in charge, and he produces the online newsletter " The Maharshi " also.
