yourself

corpse-like

to

the waters

of ever running

river of

life,

you

appear as moving fast

to

those watching

from

the shore…

but

when you

the current

and

float effortlessly,

merging

with

the present

you

Dear friends,

this Yosy's poem and the river theme reminded me of one joyfull experience that

happened about two years ago. By that time I was wondering how the guru's grace

can be met, as it's importance is stressed in the texts by the Bhagavan. I

interpreted the event with these words:

A TEACHER'S VISIT

I felt

that I did not have teachers.

They happened to pass away.

Where is the presence of Grace now?

In ancient texts long since written

or in silence perhaps?

How shall I remember the Self now?

Unexpectedly

the Guru visited one night.

My family was embarrassed,

at my weeping in the presence of the guest.

The Guru talked with others,

He did not talk to me

but smiled and tapped my shoulder.

Then

I entered to the shore of the eternal river.

I bathed in the stream,

stayed afloat on the waters. Still

and moving.

My love was breathing in me.

Yours,

Vesa
