A Prayer

 

True, I am vile,

you are immaculate.

But I have reached your feet

and stand before you

Lord Supreme.

You can transmute

all that you touch

into yourself

for such is your glory.

 

Then it is your duty,

Blue throated friend,

within me dwelling,

Ramana, mighty Lord,

Your duty

is to turn me into Sivam

and make me shine.

If i trust God

As much as

My pet Daisy

Trusts in me

Am Sure

He will take care

Of me forever !
