These quotations are from Sri Muruganar's book, Guru-Ramana- Vachana-Mala or The

Garland of Guru's Sayings by " Who " Sri K.L.Sarma and is published by Sri

Ramanasram

 

Note: These are some of the utterances of Sri Bhagavan and recorded by Sri

Muruganar, before and after his Self Realisation through Sri Ramana's Grace.

There are several translations.

 

Verse 152. The State of librated Being can be reached only by " dying " ; but

(this) dying does not consist in destruction of the body; one should understand

that true death is the extinction of the ideas " I " and " mine. "
