While those who daily sing his praises,

Louder than the ocean near,

Stand and wait.

 

He hurries towards

this worthless wastrel

and destroys with one gracious glance

my gloomy past.

 

Even at the feet of Ramana

I fail to end what endless seems,

My hardness of heart,

my wickedness.

 

Muruganar eventually reached Self Realisation through Sri Bhagavan's Grace.
