Mistaking falsehood for the Truth,

this wretch once wasted all his time.

 

Henceforth for me there is no rock

of certitude except your Feet.

 

Forsake me not,

despising me

as a faithful follower of the false.

 

If you forsake me,

Ramana, God,

Alas, alas, what could I do?

 

 

Muruganar eventually attained Self Realisation through Sri Bhagavan's Grace.

It is funny but true .. who has forsaken whom ? HE for one never ever forsakes us ..HIS GRACE is ever present..This can be repeated a million times over !!

 

It is we who have forsaken HIM ..by getting trapped in the world of MAYA ..Never mind , HE says .. Am always ready whenever you are ready !!

Of the blinded by ignorance

Worldly eyes.

Yet they are

Ever revealed, unmasked

To the open heart..

 

Disguised

Under most mundane,

Secular and insignificant appearance,

The teaching is passed on

Through various means

In earthly enterprises…

In spite of the ostensible,

The students learn

Without their knowledge

The unexpected, imperceptible.

Yet impeccably effective.

Know, friend of the friendly,

The birth-less teaching lives on!

And the divine guide's grace

Is omnipresent.
