DEEP IN SUN SEARCHED GROWTHS

Torrid rains are over, bright Sun begins to shine;

Locust flies seem horrid, swarming in the light,

Hanging like a curtain, clouding out clear sight.

Squadrons manoeuvre; is this perhaps some sign

Of locust ego's ‘I’s, veiling Self sublime?

Golden sunset falls;I enter soul’s dark night,

Some locusts then die off, or quickly take to flight;

Clarity shines on Real Self benign,divine.

If we wish to maintain our sanity,

And not obscure our Self by egotism,

We must surrender to God all vanity;

Living from ‘false me’is foul stigmatism.

Far better to live from the Self Supreme,

Pure Awareness! and wake up from life’s dark dream!
