Guest guest
I want to make you sensitive about a serious neglection of copy-right-rules, which comes more and more in vogue in the net, so for example on: www.sribd.com and on many other sites. Ramanashram is so kind to give many books for free download on their site: http://www.sriramanamaharshi.org/bookstall/downloadbooks.html Some People download those books and put them on their sites instead of link to the original: http://www.sriramanamaharshi.org/bookstall/downloadbooks.html Some may do it in good believe, perhaps not thinking much about the matter (so they should know), some may also do it to make their own page more attracting. Certainly those books are " common-property " , so to speak, but I think it is not fair to Ramanashram. The mail is just to make you sensitive about this matter, when you come across such things. Kind regards to all Gabriele
Guest guest
Dear Gabriele, This is a very good point. I just want to caution Prasanth and others not use the list simply as an advertising mechanism for their sites. Everything that you are posting Prasanth is quite familiar to all of us. As Gabriele pointed out all these works are free to be downloaded and are meant for discussion. There are people who have been in the sangha for many years and are deeply devoted to Bhagavan's teachings. Those sangha members who have been here for many years are free to advertise their blogs and sites, etc. However, those who join only for the reason of promoting their site, and it soon becomes apparent, may find their motives questioned. Such people risk being moderated, removed, or banned completely.
