Verse 179: Meditation on a Name or Word, worship of the forms of God and the

like do help in the practice of the Quest, by rooting out the old taints of the

mind. (25)

 

(25) Japa (repetition) is the original means, fixing the mind on a Name of God,

or a Mantra.
