Guest guest
Dear Friends, Let us welcome the new members who have recently joined. Ava who joined yesterday said that her advisor in graduate school had sent her Sri Ramana’s picture in the 1990s. She mentioned that there is a Sri Ramana group on facebook and the moderator there had mentioned us. So, people hear about this Sangha in different ways. All are welcome no matter what the background, religion, or anything. We have all come together in our love and quest for Self-Knowledge as exemplified perfectly by Sri Ramana. Our lineage goes back to the prophets of nonviolence who held Ahimsa (non violence ) as the first principle. That is also the first principle of yoga (Patanjali’s yoga sutras). Sri Ramana used to say, “Ahimsa Param Dharma”, meaning nonviolence is the supreme religion. The group follows the spirit of Sri Ramanashram. We are not rigid and uptight about any rules, etc. The group is supported by . A lot of material is on on self-inquiry, samadhis, self-realization. I have started to develop a page dedicated to Sri Ramana on the site and will do so as time permits over the next 6 months or so. Thank you for being here and sharing. Namaste and love to all Yours in Bhagavan Harsha
