Verse 194: The sadhaka's (spiritual seeker's) enemy hates the ego (in the

sadhaka), whom the sadhaka (himself) wants to kill; thus, like the anvil to the

goldsmith, he is actually a friend.

Muruganar who was eventually Self Realised through the grace of Sri Bhagavan

recorded his utterances and set them in verse form. He was a great Tamil Poet.
