Dive Deep

WHO truly am I? The profoundest question is Who,

Am I? The ultimate, most urgent quest, before I die.

How sad to fly from the body in doubt: who are you?

Who, truly am I?

It’s indeed an easy task to turn and look; a true

Yearning to learn the wherefore, whether, what for, and why

Of I. To dive deep into the heart is our Master’s clue

To live, and be wholly free from dismal care and sigh,

In the Self, of boundless bliss, celestial saphire blue,

Who, truly am I?

Dear Alan ,

Magnificent ! What a paradox this life is.. We need to dive deep into the Inner Self ; all the while floating effortlessly in the muddy waters of what we call outer life !

And enjoy and embrace both !

love

:) speaking of diving, reminds me a particular one...

the blue hole dive 1972

death

beckoned me softly

and i followed.

but then

it smiled, saying:

do not rush, my dear.

anyway, your corpse is mine

and keeps on dying

all the time!

but you are not.

unborn, boundless,

how can you die?

wake up, my friend

and return to the surface.

there is no " i " !

jai ramana!

yosy (deep sea diver by trade, presently retired)
