Thank you Alan for the most inspiring poem.

All is very well!

Each corner of the world is lit

See ignorance, the sum of it, feeding to a mighty

weight

Oh single stream alone, you set it straight

Escape a falling into hell:

All

is very well!

In multitude, this race, experience and mind

A beatitude; Blessed are the pure in heart

Coming home, who does the seeker find?

In silence and by Grace.

Here is the unstruck bell:

For keeping, nothing but a count of this; Each pain

and gain, falling into Bliss

What may that number be? Like the empty sky, to see.

'i' is gone, work is done.

It’s truly true. Who is here to tell:

All is very

well!

Dear Alan,

Thank you for your poem too which I like very much indeed.

All is well, very , very well was the mantra of Saint Julian of Norwich the Medieval Woman Anchorite.

So be it.

All best wishes and warm regards,

Yours in Bhagavan,

Dear All ,

All is very well .. it is only the EGO that spreads sickness and suffering..

Yet it is like a leech with which we cannot disassociate just like that.

With HIS GRACE and lots of patience from our side .. this EGO can

be killed " softly " and gradually.

Wishing the very best for every one in the Sangha.

love

Not really to begin with a definition of the ego again...

I do believe the negative 'conceptualisation' could be most useful if

actually used, but only for the moment.

What is interesting is not a defining at all.

Beginning two years ago, I have had what could be described as an assignment

on this matter, here comes one way to see/say it:

From periods of transparency (even in a busy mind, there are many :), the

point of observation is (already) established. As the mind is always ready

to go, even early and subtle movements may be caught. This way there is no

fooling oneself neither to the better nor the worse.

I really like this excerpt so here's a repetition.

Alan

Excerpt from 'Conscious Immortality'- Conversations with Ramana

" A jnani crushes the ego at its source. It rises up again and again, for

him too as for the ignorant, impelled by nature, ie,parabdha.

Both in the ignorant and in the jnani , ego sprouts, but with this

difference: the former's ego is quite ignorant of it's source, and is not

aware of it's deep sleep in the dream and waking states. On the other hand,

when the jnani's ego rises, he enjoys his transcendental experience with his

ego, keeping his focus always on it's source. His ego is not dangerous- it

is only the ash-skeleton of a burnt rope: although it possesses a form it is

ineffective. By constantly keeping our focus on our source, our ego is

dissolved. "

hehehe

definitions, borders, rules…

they confine, restrict, direct.

but the wind

knows nothing

of this

and the sky

cannot be bound.

if you trap the wind

it

dies.

ya yosy,

let your spirit

roam

free!

see:

this moment

is one

with the ocean

of time.
