Lord God of My Being,

I ask that you

save me from myself,

I ask this in name of the nameless

One,

I ask this for the sake of all

beings,

past present and future.

I ask for the gift of compassion

for myself, for myself alone,

that I may attune to your vibration

where there is nothing but love

So be it.

~A

o-o you said the *H* word...

Why is the unnameable, ineffable, always a *Him*?

Sheesh! *It* needs no sexually-oriented pronouns

and its about time everyone who considers themselves

enlightened beings (who doesn't?) to stop using them.

End of rant.

Much Love,

~A

Thanks for the rant, Ana, it was high time. :) I was thinking the same thing. The seeker also need not be assumed to be a man; there have been a lot of posts around here lately using male pronouns to refer to the general, unidentified seeker or spiritual aspirant. <<<huge grin>>>, if memory serves, i came upon gururatings over 4 years ago with

a similar rant.

Some things never change, though i wish humanity were more awareness oriented

and less class, economic, and sex-conscious.

Ah well.. onward Christian soldiers and three cheers for the home team; may we

ll enjoy our Maya while it lasts.
