Guest guest
" rafaelstoneman " <rafaelstoneman wrote: > > when the overwhelming sense of disinterst rises > it rises with disinterest in everything Dear Rafael, Namaste Our Sacred Self is beyond interest and disinterest. Mind is interest in spirituality (fortunately!) and Mind is also disinterested when our identification with Mind tries to build " identity " . I would say all of us here experience what you are experiencing now, it's no special bonus you are having. It's also quite common when the process is going on. To my understanding, Bhagavan Ramana didn't spend two years in caves " of disinterest " , is completely the other way around, He was One with All. It's wonderful material for Enquiry as where this disinterest is having its source... Remember that disinterest is not dispassion (vairagya), disinterest is almost a negative emotion created by ego to undermine efforts, dispassion is having our attention or " interest " (or passion) towards the Highest of Ourselves, which produces in turn a dis-passion for what is not our Sacred Self. If we see this obstacle, it looses its strength, little by little. If there's still resistance, relax, do something " you " like (if it's not harmfull to others or yourself). Just the two cents of a fellow traveller wishing you good luck. Yours in Bhagavan, Mouna

When all is perfect, whole, Just as it should be – Only gratitude Remains. What intent can arise?
