Verse 223. Nothing remains to be striven for by those that have become

established in this State (of Liberation, pure Being, or Mukta); they should be

understood to be beyond the necessity of " doing " anything, (and understood) to

have known whatever needs to be known Foot note(1), and to be free from doubt.

 

(Footnote 1) The only thing needful to be known is the Self; if and when this is

known, it is found that there is nothing else to be known; this is categorically

stated later in (Verse) No. 27
