Guest guest
Where enlightenment is, the person isn't. There is no such thing as an enlightened person. This would be akin to the awake dream character. At the enlightened persons' reunion, whoever shows up is disqualified.
Guest guest
Absolutely ! It is said those who know do not speak , those who speak do not know .. Enlighted ones like Bhagavan had no need to transmit any message through language.. Most powerful among his teachings were transmited through silence. For the benefit of others , he started confirming HIS STATE OF BEING with the scriptures ..otherwise he himself had no need for any written or spoken word.. all love and a great day ahead.. ramesh --- On Wed, 7/15/09, Richard <richarkar wrote: Richard <richarkar enlightened persons Date: Wednesday, July 15, 2009, 8:03 AM Where enlightenment is, the person isn't. Guest guest
Dear Friends, Robert Adams used to say 'whoever says he is Enlightened isn't, because that 'I' which says 'I am enlightened' is the 'I' you have to get rid of to be enlightened'. He also said 'we are going to hold a Jnani convention and anyone who turns up isn't a Jnani.' Enlightenment Means Not describing Nor discussing What enlightenment Is. It is so simple It’s a shame to admit Even the lowest of the base Know it. Yet the most profound intellect Can but glimpse A mere reflection Of its depths. No amount of words Can describe the taste Of honey. Eat! The enlightened ask not They are The answer. yosy
