Guest guest
Is it being in the army that taught you grace? I ask without any meaning beyond those words. I had a student, very petite, but she had such a temper, such a temper - we were always at odds, till another student, much older than me, or maybe my age decided she had something against me. At one of numerous outbursts from my older student, the petite soldier one day was ready to jump at her throat - to protect me! I saw grace plainly in her that day. I asked her one day why she would go back - she had expressed not wanting to, earlier to the class. She said, if she did not , they, would find her and put her in prison. I thought about many different directions that conversation could go - I never met her again. She never came to contest her incomplete grade. Guest guest
the army taught me how to respect the structured world of society if you will, the rules that are created by man, but Grace, perhaps is understood only when everything is unlearned look at the new born child; look at the desireless heart; look at the animal kingdom- all are expressions of Grace PV <yvpy Sent: Friday, July 17, 2009 10:44:45 AM Re: Everything is possible with divine grace - Speaking Tree - Spirituality - LI Is it being in the army that taught you grace?
