BURNING BUSH

Sage Moses, desert wandering, found a fearsome fire,

A bush of prickly gorse crackled, then hissed with ire,

It was being devoured by sheets of white hot flame,

When out of that effulgence, there spoke the Holy Name!

Fearless Moses enquired, as it was his right to do,

“Mystic voice speaking from the fire, tell me, who are you?â€

A loud reply thundered, hearken son, â€I AM THAT I AM!â€

Such was the revelation, uttered by that Holy Name.

King David composed a psalm for his lyric harp to play,

On one inspired and most auspicious summer day.

He raised his voice and sang “Commune with your own heart

Upon your bed and be still.†Sage wisdom he did impart.

So the Sages of the Bible and Advaita meet,

Let us pause and pay reverence to their holy feet.

Dear Alan

michael bows in deepest gratitude possible

in respect of Alans sparkle of GD

HASHEM THEONEANDONLY SELF LOVE

whatever name someone uses

Your poem was the first mail read on this SunDay morning

It reflects in incredible similarity

that what this person KNOWS

The BIBLE as the gift of GD to humanity thru the Jewish ancient people

ADVAITA as the gift of GD to humanity thru the ancient Indian people

are ONE

as GD is ONE AND ONLY

and THE messenger of this precious jewel of wisdom

was and is our SADGURU

SRI RAMANA MAHARSHI

who came in manyfold bodily appearences all the "time"

Alan dear messenger of LOVE

just moments after experienced an incredible "happening" being alone in the morning hours

not even digested it fully - of course

but UNDERSTOOD

this message came into my eyes

oh Gosh

what Grace to be alive

what a Grace to know that we all are "nothing else"

but

GDS SPARKLE OF LIGHT

your eternal brother on the way back home

michael

the eternal child
