From the Garland of Guru's Sayings WHO Translation

 

this quotation is from the book, Guru--Ramana- -Vachana- -Mala by " Who,

published by Sri Ramanasramam.

 

 

Verse 235. Three taints (of mind) (the sense of doing, knowing, and desiring)

are mentioned; of these the foremost is the ego-sense in relation to the body

(or doing); the

other two are rooted in that; when that is lost, the (other) two will be lost

also.
