From the Garland of Guru's Sayings WHO Translation

This quotation is from the book, Guru--Ramana- -Vachana- -Mala by " Who,

published by Sri Ramanasramam.

Verse 238. The Supreme Silence that arises as Pure Consciousness on the death of

the ego, through the mind becoming free of thoughts in the Heart, is (also known

as) the transcendental speech. (8)

(8) Speech and silence are identical in this State; differences (only) arise

through the diversification of the one consciousness through (or by way of) the

ego-mind.
