FROM THE GARLAND OF GURU'S SAYINGS ~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~

~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~
Verse 71 p. 18
This Jiva (soul) which has sprung from the infinite being like a bird springing
from its nest and wandering in the sky, will surely return and merge into its
Source, namely the infinite, even in spite of hindrances.
Note 38. All individuals are alike destined to attain the Supreme State; some
attain it sooner and others after many births; that is all the difference; the
notion of eternal damnation is illogical; Advaita Vedanta condemns the dogma as
contrary to the testimony of the Sages.
published by Sri Ramanasramam
