Guest guest Posted August 30, 2009 Report Share Posted August 30, 2009 Dear all, just looked up at the luthar.com and saw one of the recent articles by Harsha: self-realized-sage-is-like-a-parrot I like especially this one, as indeed it is such like, that the sage repeats the same thing again and again - not parrot-like, as his response differs according to the understanding of the questioner, but parrot-like in the sense that the message is always the same. If one reads Talks and the other Ramana-books, one gets the impression, that Ramana had a Herculean patience to answer all the many visitors and questioners. The other side is - if we read them again and again - they eventually sink in. We need repetition as understanding may only come gradually.
