Guest guest
Dear Michael and Yosy, I saw a documentary on Yom Kippur and what a wonderful reflective practice this is if done with deep sincerity. I have a friend whose wife and daughter are Jewish. I asked him what the proper greeting is for Yom Kippur. He is going to ask them and get back to me. I know it is different from Christmas because everyone says Merry Christmas on Christmas. But Yom Kippur is clearly different and is more like the Jain practice of stepping back and reflecting and forgiving (Paryushana). Any insights on this would be most welcome and I would appreciate learning more.
