:) oh yes, sam dear...

Abandoning intent

Right intent

Is no intent.

When all is perfect, whole,

Just as it should be –

Only gratitude

Remains.

What intent can arise?

Can any purpose spring up

And be

In the absence

Of

'Me'?

gratefully,

Hello, Sam -

Just back to the toasty warmth of Florida beaches,

after a few days on the cold floors (not to

complain) of Maine.

I read of an awakened teacher who only offered one teaching

that she instructed her aspirants to repeat:

" I have no complaints whatsoever. "

Well, darling Jeff, we could go by the old standard: I could complain, but

*who* would listen? ;-)

So Jeff,

I spent my teen age years in Portland, Maine. Loved the coast. Had a girl friend whose father was chauffeur to an old lady who owned an estate that included a lovely private rocky cove.

Great place to swim and neck.

We were protected by my friend's cocker spaniel who would warn of approach. Of course none of that ever happened.

I must have dreamed it.

Love, Sam

Hi Anna, Yosy.

Hello Papajeffji:-)

This story first appeared years ago around Thanksgiving.

It actually inspired me to write my own little story at the time.

The first part of her advice was to repeat...

"Thank you for everything," followed by

"I have no complaints whatsoever."

Sounds to me like a nice conceptualization

of surrender. And yes, Sam, gratitude is truly

a window to gaze into the eye of peace!!!

So nice to hear from you on this list...

Gratefully in His Hands,

Radhe
