Verse 299. That sleepless unwinking Deity, who directs the (multiple, apparent)

intellects from within, unknown to them, is the Self. (32)

 

(32) The Vijnanamaya (intellect body or sheath), who is believed to be the Real

Self by the qualified Dualists, is the reasoning faculty, the intellect; this is

part of the subtle (or dream) body and is insentient; it appears to be sentient,

because the light of Pure Consciousness, namely the Self, is reflected in it.
