Welcoming David Godman

Dear Friends:

 

Yesterday evening I was thinking about David Godman. I saw some of David's

pictures at Arunachala from the 1970s and 1980s and 1990s on Anna Sophia's wall

on facebook. Anna and David are friends. Anna-ji also knows Alan-ji and has met

him.

 

I have always felt that David had done such wonderful service to the devotees of

Bhagavan by capturing the pure and authentic teachings in his books. David also

has the good merit to have been around Bhagavan's devotees like Annamalai Swami

and Poonja-ji.

 

It struck me that David is such a pure soul that I should write a review of

David Godman's books and emphasize that the authentic teaching of Bhagavan

Ramana that he has captured for all of us based on authentic sources. " Be As You

Are " is one classic example of that. 'There are so many others.

 

So I had these thoughts yesterday in a very strong way. I think it was after

going to Anna's wall on facebook.

 

This morning when I got up and checked my e-mail, Alan-ji had written that David

had joined the list. Of course, as a brother devotee of Bhagavan, David has

always been part of our sangha.

 

Let us welcome David Godman. You have all our thanks David-ji for the wonderful

work and service that you have done for all of us.
