Guest guest
Bhakti is strange. Other places in the world with people come together, but what I have found I hold alone on this distant shore. I came across the aspects of Bhakti and Jnana when discovering the Gita. Then finding Vivekanandas books (one thick, one thin my conclusion was Bhakti was a lesser path. Later in life I was taken by surprise. And as this came as a long series of events there was no choice. From what my teacher had said about the nature of the mind the response was of course discrimination. In a period of 18 years there was only once an encouragement from her and then back to a total indifference. If any response to experiences it would be referring to impermanence. And the result was a ‘minimalistic’ Bhakti and then the presence of Devi in a certain form. After a while I began to wonder, why this way of appearing, why this form. So in the last year I felt I had to speak about this matter saying only this; It has been there day and night for more than 5 years. She gave me an instruction that was the most incredibly simple one ever. When I sat down in the evening exactly what she said happened. And the strange situation when seeing her again, so utterly meaningless were words I could not mention it. This is actually the explanation to the two short verses in the page below. It they carry any meaning at all. http://www.ferryfee.com/bluesky/Islands/When_I_think_of_you.htm Limitation belongs to the individual mind. The riches and the power of the universe have no end.
