BHAGAVAN RAMANA'S EKI SLOKA*

 

Inside the spiritual heart cave,

There abiding, waiting ready to save

Poor sadhak, wailing in samsara,

Hear wise advice given by Sage Ramana!

 

There dwells the Atman shining as I-I-I.

Enter the Heart with your inner eye,

With questing mind, diving deep down deep,

To awaken poor sad jiva from its sleep.

 

If you fail to control your restless mind,

Then hold the breath and one day you'll find,

Abidance in the Atman of your Self,

And the end of demon egotistic elf!
