Guest guest
We have two considerations: death of husband; and medium term longevity of the native. ABA 6.1 (20th April 1954 chart) Husband is signified by Jupiter. In this chart Jupiter is weak in infancy and carries no bindus in its own astakavarga. Its Lord Mercury is badly placed in the 6th house and is debilitated in the Rasi. Regarding longevity the Lagna has MT sign Libra therefore the significator is Venus. Venus is well placed in the 7th house and associated with exalted Sun which aspects and strengthens the Ascendant. Saturn is strong in exaltation in the Ascendant which should give long life. Moon is in infancy and debilitated in Rasi. Whilst this may bring some transit health problems, it is more than likely related to career or work issues as Lord of the 10th house. Venus however is slightly into old age and aspected by Rahu also significator of husband, as Rahu is disposed by Jupiter. Venus is also in Krittika which shows problem in marriage. ABA 6.2 (29th December 1956) Jupiter in this chart is strong and well positioned except that it receives an aspect from Ketu. For longevity there is not an MT sign on the Ascendant so we would consider Lord of the 8th house which is Venus. Venus is badly afflicted by malefic Saturn which is Lord of the 12th house which is also an indicator of longevity. It is also closely associated with a Vargottama debilitated Moon and a debilitated (SATVA) Rahu. Saturn another indicator of longevity is afflicted my MMP (Most Malefic Planet) Venus. CONCLUSION ON CHARTS From the foregoing I would say that ABA 6.1 is the one for the death of the husband and ABA 6.2 is for the death of the native. WHICH DASAS? ABA 6.1 MD Ketu represents Mercury and Jupiter Bukhti Venus relevant houses are 10th natural karaka Saturn, 2nd Mercury, 4th Sun, and 8th Jupiter. Bhukti Sun - 10th Saturn, 2nd Mercury, 2nd Mercury, 6th Venus. So in both Ketu/Venus and Ketu/Sun we have possibilities of death of husband as Mercury ruling the second house is common to both MD and Bukhti. Also Ketu/Jupiter gives indications (Jupiter being husband) and Ketu and Jupiter being samdharmi. ABA 6.2 MD is Venus samdharmi Saturn and Moon Bukhti Moon relevant houses are 12th natural karaka, 4th Saturn, 8th Venus, 12th Mercury Bukhti Mars - 4th Saturn, 8th Venus, 5th Saturn, 9th Mercury. So again in both Venus Moon and Venus Mars we have the possibilities of death of the native as Venus is common to both bukhtis. WHICH TRANSITS? ABA 6.1 For the death of husband we would look at affliction to natal Jupiter, the MEP of the 7th house, Rahu as significator for Jupiter and the 3rd house as MT sign for Jupiter. Transit 17 July 1992 Sun and the MEP of the 7th house is afflicted by close aspect of Ketu from the 3rd house. Natal Rahu is afflicted by transit Neptune. Natal Venus is exactly afflicted by transit Pluto. Transit 15th April 1991 There is no affliction to natal Jupiter or 7th house. Transit Neptune afflicts natal Rahu and Pluto afflicts natal Venus. Conclusion 17th July transit is more appropriate as an indication of death of husband. ABA 6.2 For death of the native we would look at affliction to the Ascendant, the MEP of the 8th house, and the stellium of malefics in the natal 9th house. Transit 15th April 1991. Saturn afflicts natal Ascendant and the MEP of the 8th house of death. Most Malefic Planet Venus comes opposition 9th house stellium of natal malefics and conjuncts natal Ketu. Transit 17th July 1992. There is no affliction to Ascendant, 8th house or the 9th house stellium Conclusion the 15th April 1991 is more appropriate as an indication of death of the native. FINAL CONCLUSION 1. ABA 6.1 (20/4/1954) lost her husband in Ketu/Sun dasas 2. ABA 6.2 (29/12/1956) died in Venus/Moon dasas.
