Guest guest
Dear Krushna - I must appreciate your hard work. After reading your findings and working, some time you were on proper track, but how you changed it, I think you got jumbled, You have written your answer correct some where again lost the track. any how I read it completely, and corrected. Please Put it in the file, but after rewriting it in proper way. Thanks, Krushna for taking the time out to correct my errors. I couldn't even begin to tell you what happened here, really, because I'm not sure myself! Like you said, I started out OK, but I somehow left out these other dasa combinations as an option and really threw myself off track. AND I only limited myself to using your system alone, which I STILL don't fully understand yet, so that didn't help either. Plus, I almost made poor Sandy blow a blood vessel trying to explain to me what I had done wrong as I STILL couldn't see it! (hee-hee) Anyway, the most important thing is that we learn from each one of these lessons, whether we come up with the right answers or the wrong ones. I will correct this and post it as the next lesson in the file. Thanks, Krushna. Donna
Guest guest
Dear Krushna and group, I decided that I would have a preliminary look at the problem using the Systems Approach in the first instance and go on from there. I took first the lady with the Libra lagna and looked at the transit charts for the 15th April 1991 and then at the transits for the 17th of July 1992. For the 15th April, Venus lord of the 1st house of self ,health, and vitality and also lord of the 8th house of longevity was afflicted by Ra with a close aspect. This indicated a loss of vitality, health and problems with longevity. There was very little else from the transits and I felt at this stage the Libra lagna chart could well be the lady who died. Looking at the transits for the 17thJuly 1992 the only malefic transits were of Rahu to the MEPs (most effective points) of the odd numbered houses as these could not affect either her own death or the death of her husband the odds went up for the 15th April date as being her own death. Looking next at the lady with the Pisces lagna I looked first at the transits for 15th April against her natal chart. The only malefic aspect in the chart was that of transit Venus to her natal Ra and natal Mo, both of these were in the 9th house and could not relate to either event. Looking next at the transit chart for the 17th July the situation was very different. Transiting Ra/Ke afflicted the MEPs of all the even numbered houses of course including the 2nd longevity of husband, 8th longevity, 6th sickness and 12th loss. Venus a functional malefic afflicts the 11th house of income (something which would suffer if she lost her husband) and finally functional and natural malefic Saturn afflicts Mars significator for husband. In other words the Pisces lagna had nothing special happening on the 15th April but showed strong indication of the death of the husband on the 17th July 1992. This gave me :- Libra lagna – Native died on the 15th April 1991 Pisces lagna – Husband died on 17th July 1992 I then went on to check the above using the astakavarga system. Libra lagna – Here I looked basically at the 1st house (health, vitality and the 8th house of longevity. The dasas for the period are Ke/Ve For the first house Saturn was the top points scorer with 30 point in row 17. Sa does not aspect either A,B, or C houses so can qualify although it is the lord of C and is positioned in B. However the functional karaka for the 1st house is Venus and Venus is natural samdharmi to Saturn so that Venus could give the event. For the 8th house the Moon is the top point scorer with 20 points but is disqualified due to the fact that it aspects house B and is not lord of either D or E. Saturn is the next highest point scorer with 19 points .It does aspect A but is the lord of D and is therefore anxious to give a result. Venus is samdharmi to Sa there fore can give the result.. The above confirms the Libra lagna as being the person who died on 15th April1991 Looking at the Pisces lagna to confirm that her husband died 17th July 1992 during a Ve/Ma dasa. For the death of the husband I looked at the 2nd House (8th form the 7th) Me was the highest point scorer with 27 points did not aspect either A,B or C and was the lord of E. I could see no reason to eliminate Me but I knew it was not the sub-period lord at the time of the event and must be eliminated. Sa was the next highest point scorer with 20 points. Sa is in A and aspects C but it is also lord of D and is anxious to give the result . Sa is placed in Scorpio and is therefore samdharmi to Mars thus Mars can give the result. This confirms that the Pisces lagna chart native lost her husband on July 17th 1992 in the Ve/Ma dasa. Peter Namaste

Guest guest
Dear Peter, Your thinking is in the proper way. I agree the planetary position was some what confusing. Venus in chart with Pieces asc. is situated in 9th house, and Rahu representing Mars can misguide. It is only Venus in krittika and Jupiter in navamansha in libra are main factor for giving the result for libra asc, for loss of her husband. When I was studing astrology prelim lessons about this system, My Guru Late shri BrijGopal Shastri, Shown me the method of solving on libra chart. In 1960/61 he predicted that she will loose her husband in Ketu Sun period. When actual result experienced, Mu Guru was not alive. To day again I remember him, and I am thankful that he teached me this unique system. krushna > " Peter Sutcliffe " <petermay > > >Re: Exercise -6 >Mon, 12 Mar 2001 23:55:52 +1000 > >Dear Krushna and group, > >I decided that I would have a preliminary look at the problem using the >Systems Approach in the first instance and go on from there. >I took first the lady with the Libra lagna and looked at the transit charts >for the 15th April 1991 and then at the transits for the 17th of July 1992. >For the 15th April, Venus lord of the 1st house of self ,health, and >vitality and also lord of the 8th house of longevity was afflicted by Ra >with a close aspect.
