We are to assess who the native lost on the 24th August 1985.

Was it his Mother, father or son?

Father would be represented by the 9th house, mother the 4th

house, and the son 5th house (or Jupiter as there is no MT sign

on the 5th house).

The father is not strong in the chart as Moon Lord of the 9th is

Vargottama, debilitated and combust and aspected by malefic Mars.

The 9th house MEP is also afflicted by aspect from Rahu. The Moon

is also badly positioned in Navamsa and aspected by Ketu.

The mothers indications are worse in that Lord of the 4th Saturn

is close conjunct malefic Mars, which also exactly afflicts the

4th house MEP.

The son's indications also are not good in that Jupiter is

debilitated in the Rasi and is associated with Rahu and opposed

by Sun in Navamsa.

Therefore any of these significators could represent the problem.

THE DASAS

The relevant dasas are Venus/Jupiter.

Death of father would be represented by the 4th house (8th from

9th). Maximum points are achieved by Saturn, who is also NK.

The FK is Mercury. Both of these are not related to the relevant

dasas.

Death of mother would be represented by the 11th house (8th from

4th). Maximum points again are achieved by Saturn; but Saturn

does not aspect A,B or C houses and again is not related to the

relevant dasas.

Death of Son. If we looked at it from the traditional view it

would be the 12th (8th from the 5th). Saturn again is the major

point scorer but aspects house C. Mars is sandharmi to Saturn in

the same constellation but also aspect C. Sun, Moon, and

Mercury are Sandharmi to saturn by 4th aspect, but aspect A.

Venus is Sandharmi and qualifies. Jupiter whilst it aspects

house A is Lord of house E and also qualifies. We therefore

have the two dasa Lords qualifiying to give the result.

(it is interesting to note that using SA we would likely use the

10th house as the 8th from Jupiter)

TRANSITS

In the last Solar Return (SR) before the event, SR Saturn aspects

natal Venus the Lord of the house of Loss (12th) who is also MD

Lord. The two dasa Lords SR Venus and SR Jupiter are in close

conjunction. SR Jupiter is afflicted by SR Venus and also natal

Venus who is also closely conjunct. Jupiter representing the Son

is thus doubly afflicted.

In the last Solar Eclipse (SE) before the event the eclipse point

came exactly opposite natal Sun. This would mean a major

relationship problem for the native, as it took place in the 7th

house ruled by Malefic Venus - MD Lord. SE Rahu aspects and

afflicts the critical Mars/Saturn conjunction in the 10th house,

and natal Venus MD Lord. SE Jupiter is afflicted by natal Ketu

and natal Pluto. Pluto is frequently seen in major family

problems - hence here we have another indication of problem

affecting the son. Malefic Venus comes exactly conjunction

natal Rahu which represents the son as its Lord is Jupiter. Venus

also comes on to the MEP of the 5th house. Malefic Mars ruler of

the accident 6th house comes exactly opposition natal Ascendant.

Daily Transit (DT). On the day of the event Mars had moved on to

aspect the Ascendant from the 9th house. It also came conjunct

natal Pluto (family Problem) and opposition SE Jupiter (the son)

DT Mars was in turn afflicted by natal Pluto and natal Rahu.

DT malefic Venus had moved on from the SE to come opposition

natal Jupiter.

There were therefore many contacts indicating that it was the Son

who was killed. In parenthesis I suspect he was electrocuted as

SR.SE and DT Uranus was conjunct natal Ascendant and was opposed

by SE Lord of the 6th house malefic Mars.

NEW VENTURE and Factory Function.

Saturn rules the 3rd house of initiatives. Just prior to this

event it had been aspecting its own 3rd house. It then moved

into its sign of exaltation. The Moon on the day of the event

exactly conjunct natal Sun Lord of the 10th house. However, the

event was marred by the Moon being debilitated in transit. If we

compare this position of the Moon with the date of death of the

son we note that in the latter case the Moon came exactly

conjunct DT Uranus, and natal Ascendant and close opposition SE

Mars. Hence the Moon in the latter case triggered the event.
