Even so, I agree it's puzzling, but it does appear that Jaimini practitioners are of the view that an Aquarius Jupiter is very strong, exaltation-like. I don't know the reason for that view, unfortunately. I seem to recollect an e-mail from Krushna where he said something similar re the strength of Jupiter in Aquarius and its weakness in Libra. Maybe Krushna can comment. This being said, the 1st conception being a girl would not really disprove the Jaimini view, considering the mix of male/female factors. I was influenced as to the pick of a boy rather than a girl by factors in the rasi chart indicating a preponderance of boys.
