Guest guest Posted April 28, 2001 Report Share Posted April 28, 2001 Dear Krushna and Group - I have created an Ayanamsha Calculator in EXCEL 2000 for anyone having problems calculating Krushna's final Ayanamsha. All that is necessary is to fill in the birth date in the Blue Boxes and the final ayanamsha will pop up in the yellow box. (That's what it said in the plumber's manual anyway. . . ) I have also left the two work tables open in order for anyone to go over it and look for any bugs or mistakes. It isn't protected so please be careful to ONLY enter the data in the blue boxes and not in a formula cell! Hope this can be of help to all of you. Once Krushna gives his approval on it, I will post the revised copy to the files section with the two tables hidden. All that will be open will be the main worksheet. Have fun kids! But I just thought you should know that this little utility program is ALSO very convenient for those of us who don’t have any trouble calculating Krushna’s ayanamsha too… This is also true. It's useful for everybody. I noticed that Krushna's Ayanamsha calculations were off by only 2 seconds by the time I reached 1931 from the year 1900, but this error may have been due to Krushna calculating them by hand. It does add up however by the time you reach 2001, where the difference then becomes 18 seconds. So this may or may not have been the reason why people were having some problems in getting the Ayanamsha correct. I doubled checked this to make sure and everything seems to be in order, so if Krushna would be so kind as to go over it and make triple sure everything is fine, then I'll post it to the FILES Section and re-do the old Ayanamsha Table in the Lessons from Page 32 to reflect the new readings. Please check in the attachment. I have tried to correct it.
