Donna,

I have just had a look at Lesson 21. This explains things more clearly than the letter which Krushna wrote however there are still a few things which I will be asking for clarification. I will wait until Krushna has Okd the lesson though as it is no good asking questions now only to find that Krushna has provided the explanation when looking through the lesson.

Dear Donna,

Trishansha means some thing different then 1/30

div chart. Some degrees are alloted for planets. It is

also known as Trimsamsa . For Even and odd signs

rulers are different. there is no div for Sun and

Moon. If required I will send detail.

thanks

krushna

Dear Krushna -

I have re-written the Lesson in hopefully the correct manner. Please go over this to make sure it's OK. I also intend to include the second part of the lesson that you sent, along with the rest of the lesson and I did so up until I saw the example that you gave.

The problem lies in the Ayanamsha again. I will post a second mail and re-send you the corrected version of the Ayanamsha Calculator. I re-did this by hand and double checked by calculator after making the proper corrections on it as you pointed out. There is still a difference of 10 seconds between your Ayanamsha Table and the calculator and I'm sure the calculations are now correct as far as adding the constant of 50.33 each year from the beginning. I also added a second

little table on the worksheet portion of the calculator where you can put in any Ayanamsha that you come up with to see the difference between that and the Final Ayanamsha that I have in my program. Please go over this and see if it's accurate and why it doesn't seem to match your ayanamsha yet. What exactly do you do when you calculate a particular ayanamsha? It should match the calculator exactly, no? Please give detailed steps as to how you came up with the calculation of the example of Sept 6, 1969 (the example in the 2nd part of the lesson) so I can see how you arrived at that particular ayanamsha?

In this post I will upload Lesson 21 as it is so far.

Thanks, Krushna -

Dear Donna

The difference in ayanansha may be due to computer program. In

Programm the the value of the ayanchalan ( yearly speed of the Ayan)

is variable. If I have calculated one chart say for the year 1909 and

at that time ayanansha as per chart is given, and suppose next chart

I made for 1969, It will show some difference. A difference of 6 sec

is not much. My write was ready for that, So instead of changing it I

continued.

Regarding change in Ayan Chalan I have already posted

seperate mail. If you want to change the Ayanansha it will not make

any difference. You can do it.

thanks
