No, you haven't entered it correctly. You're entering the data in the European format in the form of DAY/MONTH/YEAR. I have it listed as MONTH first, THEN the DAY and the year. Try it again and it will be fine.

As I said some time ago I am very pressed for time at the moment but I have

managed to have a go at finding a suitable occupation for the younger of the

2 names I gave to you a couple of weeks ago. Could you please have a look at

it and give me your corrections and comments.

Wealth. Looking at 2,5,8,11 houses. Only the 11th house is strong with only

1 planet with less points. This indicates that his only source of income

will be from his own salary or wages.

Occupation. Looking at 1,4,6,10 houses we find that only 1 and 6 have any

strength. The first indicates some status in the job while I am not sure of

the 6th I think that it indicates service type work.

 

Brilliancy

Looking at the positons of the lagna, Sun and Moon in the Dreshkana, Navamsa

and Trimsamsa none of them are in divisions ruled by Saturn which indicates

that his brilliance is less than normal to normal. However 4 of the

divisions are ruled by Mercury which indicates that he has good worldly

knowledge.

 

Occupation

Looking at the lords of the 10th from the Lagna we get the Moon which is in

Cancer in the navamsa which is ruled by the Moon. From the Sun we get Saturn

which is in Pisces in the Navamsa .This is ruled by Jupiter. 10th lord from

the Moon is Jupiter which is in Capricorn and ruled by Saturn in the

navamsa. This gives us the Moon, Jupiter and Saturn as possibilities for

indicating the occupation. However both Saturn and the Moon are very weak in

the worksheet leaving at this stage only Jupiter as an indicator.

 

3,6,10 and 11th houses and 12th

Lagna 27,31,26,36 21

Sun 26,30,30,31 30

Moon 29,36,27,29 31

All these combinations are zig zag and thus we can say he is not suited to

having his own business. Both from the Lagna and the Sun the 12th house

points are lower than the 11th, very much lower in the case of the Lagna. Th

is indicates that his expenses would be lower than his income.

 

As the 4,5,6,and 7th houses are more than 28 points it indicates he would

probably be better working during the evening or night time.

 

Now I will go through the 4 steps as in the example.

 

Step !

The workings for this are shown above and indicate that only Jupiter can

give the occupation working from the 10th Lords.

 

Step 2

The workings for this are also shown above and indicate that he is normal or

lower in brilliance but has worldly knowledge.

Step 3

From the Navamsa, dreshkana, and Trimsmsa we see that he would be unable to

run his own business. He would however be paid highly compared to the work

he does and he would have an income greater than his expenses.

From the above we find that Jupiter is so far the only planet we can

consider for indicating occupation. Looking at the worksheet we find that

the strongest planet is Jupiter with only the 11th showing less points.

Mercury is the nex strongest but has less in the main house under

consideration, that is the 10th and also less in the 2nd. Therefore I will

only consider Jupiter.

 

I would therefore recommend an occupation with some commercial operation

concerning the sea for example a fisherman. The only other occupation could

be something to do with making or building computer hardware. All the other

Jupiter occupations are usually self employed.

Thank you for yourcomments on my analysis of the chart of the younger

brother. I do however have one query on your comments. You say that Jupiter

indicates eating houses, restaurants etc.. This is something I haven'tcome

accross before. I have checked it out in about 5 or 6 vedic books and it is

not mentioned in any of them. The only possible tie in is B.V Ramans book

where he says it represents corpulence - which is obtained by eating too

much food!! Perhaps if you could give us even a short list of the types of

occupation which each planet represents it would be of assistance.

I have also been studying the analysis of the older brothers chart which you

put on the list and while I folowed most of there are a couple of questions

which I would be plased if you could clarify.

1) As you say there are 3 planets Sun, Saturn, and Mercury for consideration

.. As Saturn is mentioned twice you say a Poultry Farm or similar business. I

know Saturn signifies farming but why a Poultry farm??.

2)You say Sun is weak for 4th house - I agree

Also Me for 8th house - I agree

And Sa for the 9th house - In my worksheet Saturn is strong in all houses

and has 20 points for the 9th. This is not weak.

I also wondered about Venus as it is also strong in all houses - has this

been ignored because it has not been mentioned in the other indicators for

occupation??.

SUCH LIST I WILL GIVE IN SHORT TIME.

business. SATURN GIVES FORMING IS CORRECT, IT GIVES SOME THING WITH

LAND, ANIMALS, BIRDS.

MINING ALSO COMES UNDER SATURN. STONE CRUSHING, ESCAVATION ETC ALSO

UNDER SATURN. HERE IT SHOULD GET HELP FROM MARS. FOR FARMING IT

SHOULD BE WITH JUPITER ( SHOULD GET HELP FROM JUPITER). IN OUR CASE

IT IS WITH SUN, INDICATES WHITE THINGS, CALCIUM, COTTON, AND SIMILAR

THINGS. NO JUPITER AND NO MARS DIRECTLY COMING, SO CAN NOT GIVE

FARMING. ( FARMING IN INDIA IS STILL WITH THE HELP OF BULLOCKS)

JUPITER IS RELATED WITH VEGETABLE, TREES, GRAINS ETC.
