Question on Samdharmi Planets

Dear Krushna and respected list members,

I have a few queries, as I have just began to look at this ashtavarga

system of prediction.

1. Samdharmi planets are planets in the Same house AND same

constellation or is it an OR.

I have the following combination in my chart with Jupiter at 29.12

degrees in Sagittarius degreees in the constellation of U.Shaa. along

with Mercury who is in 27 Sag 30 again in U.Shaa.

Now I have Sun in the 8th house, Gem lagna at 4 Cp 46 again in the

constellation of U.Shaa.

Now I can understand that Mercury, and Jupiter are Samdharmi due to

both criterias matching meaning, in same house and in same

constellation, but as far as sun is concerned, it does not meet the

first criteria of the same house, but it satisfies the second i.e

same constellation. So would sun be the samdharmi.

Now Jupiter and Mercury are 1:7 relationship for house, so they are

functional samdharmi ? is my understanding correct.

I also have Venus and Rahu in Sag so now,

Would Jupiter, Rahu, Venus and Mercury and Sun all be samdharmis.

Rahu is in the house of jupiter so its samdharmi to Jupiter, and in

the constellation of Venus.

Planetary listings are

Ascdt 21 Ge 00 Punarvasu

Sun 4 Cp 46 U.Shaa.

Moon 15 Ge 37 Aardra

Mars 19 Sc 43 Jyeshtha

Mercury 27 Sg 30 U.Shaa.

Jupiter 29 Sg 12 U.Shaa.

Venus 14 Sg 39 Poo.Shaa.

Saturn ® 21 Ta 51 Rohini

Rahu 23 Sg 55 Poo.Shaa.

Ketu 23 Ge 55 Punarvasu

So here is my list of Samdharmi planets.

Mercury, Jupiter, Rahu, Venus are all samdharmis to each others.

Sun ?

Rahu is samdharmi to Jupiter, Venus.

Ketu is samdharmi to Mercury, Jupiter.

2. In the relationship lesson you have mentioned that 6:8

relationship is worst, 2:12 is bad, 5:9 is best, what if the planets

are together, as there is no first sight. How many points to give

1:1 relationship.

Since 1 is quadrant and trine so how do we rate this as per your

point system.

Please correct my understanding if it is wrong.

I may have a few more questions coming up as I am studying, so please

bear with me :)

Best Regards,

Ash
