Guest guest
Dear Ash, Thank you for your answer. Denis Message: 9 Tue, 25 Sep 2001 15:23:22 -0000 ashsam73 Re: Questions about Sandharmi planets Dear Dennis, I had posted a similar question on the list to which I got no answer. I guess because it was covered in the earlier on in the list. I went through the archives and found a post by Krushna which explained this. I'll refer you to the post its /message/1210 I'll also list it in a point form for the new commers to this list like me. Samdharmi means Sam = Similar and Dharm = Duty Its divided into 2 categories. [1] Functional Samdharmi [2] Natural Samdharmi Natural Samdharmi ----------------- [1] Venus and Saturn [2] Mars and Moon [3] Mars and Sun Functional Samdharmis --------------------- [1] 2 or more planets in same sign AND/OR in same constellation are said to be samdharmis'. [2] Planet in situated in a sign it can represent the lord of the sign. (this is used when a planet is situated in house D or E). The more points aquired by the planet the more its power to realise its significance, lesser the points it will still realise its significance but will also along with it show its negative aspects. [3] When any planet is in the fourth house from some planet, which is having less points, then the planet in 4th place can represents the planet in 10th place. The Planet in 10th place must be with less points. Navamsa Consideration --------------------- Navamsa has equal status as the Rasi chart. [1] When 2 or more planets are in the same Navamsa they become functional samdharmis'. [2] Important difference is that the points are to be taken as that of the Rasi chart.
