Mercury and speech

Hello,

 

May I ask a question to the members of the list who mainly use the

Ashtakavarga to read a chart?

 

In his book DOTS OF DESTINY, Vinay Aditya gives yogas about speech. All

these yogas use the 2nd house from Mercury. As an exemple: " 2nd house from

Mercury should be strong to give proper expression to one's thoughts by way

of speech... " .

 

In a footnote, next page (!), he writes: " In our own observation on several

horoscopes of great orateurs, Mercury itself turned out to be more important

than 2nd from Mercury " (page 69).

 

I do not like very much these books which teach the opposite of the writer's

practice. So, what is your experience? Do we have to judge speech (mode of

speech, mute, hard or swwet speech...) from Mercury or from the 2nd house

from Mercury in the Mercury ashtakavarga?

Hello Dennis,

We did two charts on dumbs. One lady who has the problem for the rest of her life and a young boy who will speak when he's 4 years old.
