Guest guest
Hello Denis, I came upon following message about samdharmi. It's from march, so some six months back but I hope it will clarify things for you. Best regards Margarita - krushna kalani J.K. Thursday, March 08, 2001 4:20 PM Re: Re: Samdharmi Dear Donna and Group, Samdharmi is sanskrit word, Sam = Similar, and Dharm = Custom, Duty, Law, the soul, Nature etc etc. So the meaning of Samdharmi is having same nature, or performing similar Duty. If any planet is said to be samdharmi it means it can perform the duty of other planet.Samdharmi planets can be further devioded in two catagary. 1. Natural samdharmi and functional samdharmi.Natural Samdharmi; Venus and Saturn , Mars and Moon, Mars and Sun are natural samdharmi. Other planets such as Jupiter and Mercury can not be samdharmi. They are having dual lordship, when one combination is in 1:4 relationship, then at the same time with other sign combination is in 1:7 relation ship. 1:7 is enmity. so Jupiter and Mercury can not be natural samdharmi. 5:9 combination is trine. which is repeated of constellation. But 3:11 combination can give result on both side it can be bad also. So if one sign is making 4:10 combination and other sign makes 3:11 combination the lord can not be natural samdharmi. there fore Moon vs Venus, or Saturn Vs Mars or Venus Vs Sun can not be natural samdharmi.Functional Samdharmi: When two planets are in one sign, and/or in same constellation they are functional samdharmi. If any planet is having tenancy in any sign, it can represents the lord of the sign. ( this we use when a planet is situated in house D or E. More the points planet is having more representations it can give. If such planet is with less points it can represents the lord but can play some culpritship. All the above results should be checked from Navamansha chart also. When two planets are in same navamansha they are call as functional Samdharmi. Actually navamansha chart is having equal status that of rashi chart. Only difference is the points we take are same as in rashi chart. When any planet is in the fourth house from some planet, which is having less points, then the planet in 4th place can represents the planet in 10th place. The Planet in 10th place must be with less points. I think, I have covered all the points here. and hope this will clear the concept of samdharmi. If any doubt please ask. I will try to explain.krushna.>DQuinn12 > > Re: Samdharmi>Wed, 7 Mar 2001 17:12:33 EST>>Dear Sylvia and Krushna ->>> > I was just wondering if there was a faster way of finding the Samdharmi> > planets it takes me a long time to figure them out.> >>>Perhaps this would be a good time to ask Krushna if he could give a >specific>step by step procedure to finding the Samdharmi planets? Also, Krushna if >you>would be so kind as to answer these question about the Samharmi planets.>>1. Is "Samdharmi" spelled correctly or could this be the same idea as>"Sambandha" perhaps which means "an affililation, a connection, a >relation"?>Or is this a different concept?>>2. Could you please review the whole concept of Samdharmi planets again and>perhaps do a step by step explanation of how to find them so that it will >be>easier to do this? I know that Lesson 8 explain much of this, but it >doesn't>seem to be enough. And also if I can understand it fully, I can perhaps>automate it somehow.>>3. For example in Lesson 8 on Page 46. If MARS from the 1st house is>Samdharmi to the MOON , can the MOON be Samdharmi to VENUS in the 7th house>and can SATURN be Samdharmi from the 10th house to Mars in the 1st house as>well?>>4. And if so, are these the only combinations with these particular >planets,>or can the corner houses ( Lesson 8 page 46) ruled by Jupiter and Mercury>also be involved in Samdharmi as well?>>>Thanks, Krushna ->Donna_______________________Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com. Guest guest
Dear Detective and Group - So I was reformatting these questions and answers for my own notes, and saving the document for myself in Word, with Krushna’s answer right under the question, and thought I’d share it with those of you who are interested and keeping notebooks on ashtakavarga. I didn’t change much except the typos. Thanks so much as usual for your assistance! (hee-hee) It's like having my own little guardian angel. ) After seeing the notes and not being able to get back to them on time, I was very glad that you wrote them up in this manner. And being that it IS all part of LESSON 25, I decided to include it in on the last part of the same lesson. So, if you would all be so kind as to re-load LESSON 25, you will now have the necessary notes that Sandy typed up for you. I had to reformat them slightly to fit the lesson, but it took a lot less time with Sandy's help. Also re-download Lesson 26 ( it is only one page), as I had to change this page from 124 to Page 126 in order to accomodate the further clarifications that I added on to Lesson 25. We are all here trying to understand this fascinating system. So because we are all busy – including Donna, who usually does ALL the organizing of Krushna’s lessons and addendums so nicely for us, I thought if we all contributed to organizing Krushna’s ashtakavarga material, and didn’t wait for one person (like Donna) to solely handle the task, we’ll all get to where we want to go quicker, and with more organization…J. Then as new people join, Krushna with his limited time schedule, will not be repeatedly asked the same questions over and over. This is just a suggestion fro a group effort that I thought may be easier…J Then Donna won’t be on overload, and she can just upload (or not) the material to the FILE section as she sees fit…which hopefully will be a relief for her. This is a great idea. Anyone who cares to do what Sandy does so nicely all the time for me lately can do me a great favor by contributing to Krushna's notebook which I have set up but haven't had time to add to lately myself. Just come up with 10 good notes at a time to contribute to the notebook (this equals a page, similar to the way I did it on the SATVA list) and I will copy them over and upload it to the site. This way we can better keep up to date with all the good stuff that Krushna teaches us. Thanks again Detective for your help and your great ideas! ) Doc
Guest guest
Dear Group, Sanjay recently asked Krushna some really good questions with respect to samdharmi (which causes confusion for so many of us J) and Krushna kindly replied to each of his questions, one by one. So I was reformatting these questions and answers for my own notes, and saving the document for myself in Word, with Krushna’s answer right under the question, and thought I’d share it with those of you who are interested and keeping notebooks on ashtakavarga. Marguerita also asked some really good questions about marriage, but I haven’t had time to get to that document yet…If anyone has reformatted it, please share? Thanks. ~Namaste~ Sandy http://www.jupitersweb.com/
Guest guest
Hello Sandy, This looks great. I was just thinking about doing the same with Krushna's answers to Sanjay's mail but somehow you seem to have more time, or hours in the US are a bit longer than in Europe ?? who knows. Thanks for your work. I think we all gain a lot with this approach.
