By looking at the table of the multiplication factor I see that those factors depend on the position of the planet per sign( exalted, friend, debility, etc). Now taking Jupiter as 6th lord in this chart with 6 points, he harms the houses he aspects. If we now take this particular Jupiter with 6 bindus harming houses 5,7 and 9 is this effect lessened because 6x0.5 =only 3 points remain ? In the worksheet Jupiter's points will also be halved, so all the values drop under 12. If things happening in Jupiter sub can not be considered as " good " this becomes even more so because the points are less ? Is that right ?? For Libra ascendent, sith lord is Jupiter, and in Libra sign Jupiter gives some problem for marriage. Now If such jupiter is situated in Libra ( Lagna) with 6 points, then it will not be beneficial for lagna, because for Libra jupiter is having multiplication factor .5, so it will give result for 1st house as of three points. The effect of sight should be considered as it is having 6 points. so effect of sight will be -6 points. As per the notes I am having about Multiplication factor, it is to be applied only for judging the results, it is not for sight. It should be applied in last, or if looking at the chart with sarvastak table. Actually the points are nothing but the favorable vote casted all the planets in the favor of a planet. If any planet is having 6 points it means that for that place six planet are supporting it. Now the multiplication factor is the basic authority of the planet, in a perticular sign, it can utilise the backing. Jupiter in libra, is having multiplication factor .5, it means it can use its backing power only 50% for the house it is situated. Or in other words it can give the result of 3 points only for the house it is situated. For Cancer lagna, again Jupiter is 6th lord, in lagna multiplication factor is 1.4, so if Jupiter is in Cancer Ascendent, with 6 points it's result for cancer will be of 8.4 points, but sight effect will be only of -6 points. So Jupiter in Cancer ascendent and more points makes the person as Mahaprush yoga ( famous and respected person). Along with this again it will spoil the result of 5, 7th and 9th house due to it's sight. It is clearly mentioned, that this multiplication factor should be used for finding the quantam of the result. So it should be used after calculating the work sheet. For finding the timing event, we should use the points as it is. Suppose Jupiter is geting 22 points, as a significator, for a perticular house, so it can give the result in it's sub, regarding that house, But when we will consider about the result, it should be as per the points received after multiplying it with multipling factor.
